Thanks to your support, you contribute to the commitment of the people of West Africa in general and in particular those of Kouadioblékro and Koro of the Ivory Coast, to lead a decent life with respect of social justice and to create income-generating activities. With your donation, you allow the Kouadioblé II foundation to continue its collaboration with local partners in West Africa and to realize sustainable projects.

Initiation and enablement

The Kouadioblé II Foundation was created by Paul and Karidia Niederhäuser so that people living in poverty can be assisted through projects that improve their living conditions an obtain long-term and sustainable prosperity.

The foundation′s name of Kouadioblé II , in recognition to the population Kouadioblékro , a «sous-préfecture» of the central part of the Ivory Coast. They installed the founding couple as village chief, and elevated them to the rank of king and queen, under the respective names Nanan Kouadioblé II and Nanan Abouala III. Its purpose is mainly as initiator and enabler.

Purpose and Creed

Our main objective is to contribute to the sustainable development of human societies with different cultural backgrounds living in precarious situations and extreme poverty.

An investment fund

The Kouadioblé II Foundation′s principal feature is to operate as an investment fund. Means will be allocated according to transparent and open economic principles coupled with pre-defined professional criteria. Given that our commitment lies in the support of people living mainly in southern hemisphere countries and particularly Africa, the aim is to instill discipline in daily management

The basis of our development philosophy is the creation economically profitable activities and jobs that lead to self-sufficiency and sustainable achievements. The steps follow the know-how and methodology of sustainable development whilst maintaining the dignity of human rights. Knowledge and expertise provided by the foundation are adapted to local cultures.

Support remains in the context of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs ) of the United Nations (UN), which are :

  1. Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger
  2. Assure universal primary education for all
  3. Promote gender equality and the empowerment women
  4. Reduce the levels of infant mortality
  5. Improve the health of mothers
  6. Fight HIV / AIDS, malaria and other diseases
  7. Preserve the environment
  8. Develop a global partnership for development

Project evaluation is based on the following criteria:

  1. The context of the project and its integration into the development plan
  2. The project′s objective and the elements for success in regard to sustainable development
  3. Costs, budget and financial plan
  4. Risk analysis, economic, sociocultural and environmental challenges
  5. Supporting measures to minimize the risks
  6. Stakeholder responsibilities partners and local commitment
  7. On site supervision and project management

Simplicity and transparency

We communicate openly and with transparency. The Foundation′s ledgers are subject to the review and control of an independent auditor which is member of the Trustee board. The foundation is also subject to the Federal Supervisory authority attached to the «Secrétariat général du Département fédéral de l′intérieur (DFI)»
